US SEC sets Nov 5 deadline for reviewing Bitcoin ETF Applications

The securities and exchange commission has outlined a time frame for reviewing proposed rule changes related to a number of diffirent applications for Bitcoin ETFs. The review period affects 9 applications. The SEC has asked for anyone to file a statement in support or rejection of the proposed ETFs by November 5. The regulator had found that the products did not comply with the requirements by the “Exchange Act Section 6(b)(5), in particular the requirement that a national securities exchange’s rules be designed to prevent fraudulent and manipulative acts and practices.” As a result, the applications are being reviewed. Cryptocurrencies are one of the top priorities in 2019 for SEC

In a report released December 20, 2018, one of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission’s top examination priorities this year is cryptocurrencies. In the report, digital assets (which are more specifically described in the document as cryptocurrencies, coins, and tokens) are included among the 6 themes for 2019 examination priorities. I wonder if this means the Bitcoin ETF application waiting for SEC approval (which the SEC has postponed decision making on until February 27th, 2019) will actually be decided on. Best ZenCash Mining Pool – for my small 1060 GPU mining rig

About 10 days ago I started mining ZenCash. I first setup and used the MiningSpeed Zencash Pool, and my 2 GTX 1060 GPUs were mining about 600 Sols/s. Over 7 days, I averaged around 0.09 ZenCash after all miner and pool fees. 2 days ago I switched to try out the SuprNova ZenCash pool – so far I’ve earned 0.12 ZenCash per day using the SuprNova pool – that’s a difference of 0.03 Zencash per day on a 2 GPU rig! GTX 1060 Mining Speed Hash Rate Tweaks and Adjustments for Equihash Mining Zcash or ZenCoin

I want to mine ZenCash, and with my GTX 1060 6GB cards I’m currently getting about 255 sols/s using my optimized Ethereum or Ethash settings that I outlined here With those settings, I am getting about 508 Sol/s to 510 Sol/s and consuming about 171 watts. According to the ZCash GTX 1060 6GB hashrates for my specific EVGA GTX 1060 6GB SSC card, others were seeing up to 350 Sol/s for each card – so there’s definitely room for improvement!
