GoRide was one of the first companies to develop an electric skateboard mini, hosting their project on IndieGoGo back in 2016. Even with all the competition in the space, their board keeps up with the pack

The wireless remote has 3 speed settings, and if you elect for the fastest mode, hold on when you take off from a standstill! Another neat feature is that the GoRide electric mini skateboard has a quick remove battery pack that allows you to swap out for a second, charged and ready to go battery pack.

This mini has longer range than most other mini electric skateboards, touting 20 miles of range and a top speed of 20mph. They use a dual hub motor which allows you to go up 20% grade hills, and regenerates energy when braking.

It’s also built to last, with 90mm wheels and an aluminum deck, it can handle up to 280 lbs – the strongest in our mini electric skateboard review.

All of this power does make the board weigh in among the top of the group, but it still has smaller dimensions for stuffing under your desk or in your locker.

We call the GoRide and upgrade pick – it costs more than average, but has a solid aluminum deck that can handle more weight, and it comes with a dual hub motor for steep hills. If you are buying a reliable small electric skateboard for commuting, this has the range and top speed you’ll need.
