This skateboard from AZBO wins top choice in the ‘Mini Electric Skateboard’ category because it has expensive features with a price that is below average. The board is UL certified, and has a maximum weight capacity of 250lbs. It’s very small, so as long as you aren’t concerned about balance on a small board, it makes and ideal electric skateboard to take to the office and put under your desk or in your locker.
Built with a 7 ply maple deck and PU wheels, it should ride just like the boards you learned on.
We wish this board had regenerative braking, but for the price, we can’t really expect it. A plus of simply having braking is that it allows you to come to a complete stop, while regenerative braking can’t fully stop you, only slows you down to a low speed.
If you need more than 6 miles for your commute, then you’ll have to look at a more expensive “upgrade pick” like the GoRide.
