The Razor Cruiser comes in as the cheapest electric skateboard in our review. Razor is able to keep the price down by using 18650 battery cells, rather than Samsung cells like most other electric mini skateboards seem to be using. In addition, the Cruiser has a lower powered motor – it’s only 125 watts.
In reality, it seems like the Razor Cruiser is an electric skateboard toy for children, rather than a serious device that could be used reliably for commuting to work or school.
It is rated for up to 220 lbs, but if you are under 200 lbs, it seems that paying around $35 more to get the HiBoy S11 would be a wise decision.
