This small electric skateboard targets 2 different segments – children, and those that need a more portable solution. The board is strong – it comes with a 7-ply maple deck and 90mm wheels, so it’s sturdy enough for any adult to ride, and yet it’s also very light. At 7.9 lbs, it’s half the weight of most electric longboards.They do this in part by having a smaller deck, but also a smaller battery pack. That does affect your range, giving you about half the range of the larger options.
Another plus is that this electric mini skateboard checks in at about half the cost of the full size electric skateboards!
One concern we have about the SkateBolt mini electric skateboard is that it says it has no brakes – the description isn’t clear if that is no brakes at all, or just no regenerative braking.
Skatebolt is an American company that provides a 6 month warranty on all their electric skateboards.
